Frontier Elementary's 2025 Rookie Teacher of the Year!

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Texas, graduating with honors and a 3.9 GPA. During my time at UNT, I also gained experience in early childhood education by teaching preschool on campus. Since then, I’ve continued building my skills and knowledge through hands-on roles in ABA therapy and as a special education teacher in a self-contained elementary classroom.

Additional biographical information

I currently teach in a self-contained elementary classroom in Texas, where I work with amazing students who learn in unique and incredible ways. My experience spans from early childhood education to ABA therapy, and now into special education, where I’ve truly found my calling.
