About the store

Experience

I create and sell educational resources on Teachers Pay Teachers to support fellow educators and enhance student learning. Through my store, I provide high-quality, practical, and engaging materials that are born from my own classroom experience. This allows me to share successful strategies and resources, saving other teachers valuable time they can then dedicate to their students.

Teaching style

My classroom is a space for curiosity and discovery. I embrace an inquiry-based teaching style, encouraging students to ask questions, investigate topics, and construct their own understanding. My resources are designed to spark curiosity, with open-ended prompts, research-based projects, and thought-provoking discussions. I believe in fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing students not just for tests, but for a lifetime of learning.

Awards & shining teacher moments

My shining moments aren't about big, showy achievements; they're about the small, genuine victories. I live for the moments when students walk into my classroom with a smile, genuinely happy to be there. Hearing a student say an activity was "fun" is a huge win for me, as it shows they're engaged and enjoying the process of learning. But my absolute favorite moment is seeing the look on a student's face when a difficult concept finally clicks—that sudden spark of understanding is what I'm in this profession for. It's in these little moments—the hugs, the positive feedback, the daily smiles—that I find the most rewarding part of teaching.

My own education history

Teaching was not my original career path, but my journey has led me to a profession I'm incredibly passionate about. I hold a degree in Applied Linguistics and a CELTA certificate. My expertise also includes training as an IELTS examiner and an Aviation English teacher and examiner. This diverse background has equipped me with a unique and effective approach to language instruction. I'm so glad my journey took this unexpected turn.

Additional biographical information

For the last eight years, I have taught students of all ages, from children to adults, at various proficiency levels (A2-C2). My most extensive experience and passion lie in preparing students for the Cambridge FCE and CAE exams, where I've developed a proven track record of helping students achieve their goals.
