Secret Circle Animal! (Equations of circles, standard and general form)

You could use this as a review once you've gone over the equations of circles in both standard and general form. Students complete a table to help them draw a series of circles. The circles overlap and make a secret animal (it's supposed to be a monkey, but some of my students argue that it's a bear or something else). The students get a mixed circle equation review while having fun with drawing the animal at the same time. The picture progresses in a way that makes it difficult for them to gues

Heading back to class after a long winter break? I use this on our first day back to help get the kids thinking again (over a two week break they can forget a lot of stuff!). There are 20 problems on this review, spanning the basic rules (constant, constant multiple, sum & difference, power), product rule, quotient rule, chain rule, sin/cos/tan, exponential functions, natural logs, and implicit differentiation. Just a little of everything to get them warmed up on calculus again. A solution pag

This worksheet has FIVE word problems that form an odd story involving Santa, cookies, radians, arc length, sector areas, and fire. I'm new at posting on TPT, so I can't figure out how to post photos of all the pages yet ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so even though only 3 problems are showing, there will be five total. I enjoy reading my student's answers from the last part of question 5! You could use this as a daily assignment or an extra credit assignment around the holidays. Answer keys for all five problems, w

Angle Holiday/Christmas Ornaments

Looking for a little project to do in December? Have your students make holiday ornaments using their angle measure skills! I assign this as a small quiz grade, and this year I even assigned it virtually and had students send me photos of their finished projects. You could also assign it as a take home (maybe extra credit even) over the December break. I randomly assign each student an angle in radian measure (my sheet of angles is attached), and for their angle they convert it to degrees, draw
