This lesson plan was created to teach compare and contrast using Venn Diagrams. There are also modifications/accommodations noted in red for students who struggle with reading comprehension. This lesson includes two Venn Diagrams, a sample for modeling and a completed compare/contrast Venn Diagram using Lon Po Po and Little Red Riding Hood.

Teach your student all about money with this unit. Originally created to be completed within two weeks, I have never been able to complete it in those two weeks - it's more like three weeks. Students will learn about the history of money, what it looks like, and how to count, add, subtract, and use money. This is a simple writing prompt sheet. Students can draw a picture and write what they want to do when they grow up. I used this for both writing and social studies as they had to write about a "service" they would provide (such as police officer, firefighter, nurse., etc).
