Whenever I introduce a lesson, I try to have loads of pictures and information. I felt the my students took well to this Penguin lesson so I thought I'd post it. Since I didn't take the photographs I'm not charging. I did a lesson with my Kinder art classes on drawing habitats and will use the same document to intro a sculpture lesson with my first grades. Winter/Holiday themed backgrounds, PDF. I had PowerPoint in mind when making them. Christmas lights background with a title page with a tree. Kwanzaa background and title page. 2 Hanukkah themed backgrounds and 2 title pages. Snowy scene background with a title page with a snowman. The other 12 are different layouts with snowflakes I drew.

I put together this map making project. The students can design their own park. They are directed to brainstorm, come up with a map key, design the actual park, and create directions to some of the main attractions. Being an art teacher, I would have them translate this into a 3D model, but this could be used in any social studies class.

I included 1 diagram sheet with lines for labeling, 1 diagram sheet without the lines in case you'd like to personalize it in some way, and 1 sheet of the flower from the outside ( thought it could work as a cover to the diagram sheet. I hope you all enjoy and please remember to leave feedback!!!

A quick, easy to read biography on the life of Vincent Van Gogh. There is a 5 question quiz after and a connect the dots of a self portrait Like my other products this one is in word so you can alter it as need be. I'm going to be doing this with a 2nd grade but I think it would be appropriate activity into 6th. This may be intended for an art class but could be used as a language arts lesson for 2nd-4th.

I have already posted my set of 5 Fall lessons and now 5 Winter for Kinder! The lessons include wrapping paper, Rudolph puppets, an elf project, snowflake geometry, and a lesson paired with the "Three Little Kittens" rhyme. There are plans with SWBAT for all five along with images for the lessons that need them (Rudolph faces, an elf head, mittens, and a kitten face). Like I do with my other items, this is uploaded in Word to make it easy to personalize where needed.

5 Lessons that are focused on important topics in the Fall. A first day of school project, a leaf art project, acorns, pumpkin parts/jack-o-lanterns, and a thankful pilgrim project. The projects offer opportunities for informative discussion and artistic creativity.

It's actually called a snow-person to make it gender neutral. Students will learn about design, setting/background, and will practice their writing skills by turning their art into a picture prompt. The file includes a snow-person with instructions, a writing sheet for older students, and one for younger ones that might need wider lines. These three projects give the students a chance to learn a little more about these creatures, to be creative, and share what they are thankful for. Each have an objective and a walk through of the lessons the way they were presented in my classroom. I also included; -turkey coloring sheet -a turkey feather to write what the students are thankful for -a blank feather All three are great to decorate around and outside of your class as well!
