Literature Bug

This lesson was designed to encourage students to learn and discuss facing obstacles and challenges as well as perseverance. In my classroom, I used it to encourage students to set goals and be better problem solvers when they are working with others that are different. The lesson can also be used for an interactive read aloud.

The lesson plan was designed to promote literacy while teaching lessons about bullying and perseverance.

This product contains a signpost reading log, criteria checklist for grading, and a Google Form fiction signpost reflection.

I created this rubric to accompany warm-ups/ do nows/ bellringers. It can be used as a checklist or a point grading system.
