About the store
Hi! Welcome to my store! I am so glad you are here! The purpose of my store is to target students with reading deficits in grades 6-12!
I have been in education in for 17 years, in various roles. I have worked with grades K-12 as a classroom teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, and a reading specialist/coach which is my current role. I have spent years creating and perfecting materials using the Science of Reading and various programs. I have had great success with pre-made programs but have also learned a few things along the way of what struggling readers need. While I have experience working with readers of all ages, I am currently working with students in grades 7-12. With that, I have found that the amount of reading support for older students is rather limited.
I tussled back and forth if I should share the materials I have created because they are my heart and soul of what I do each and every day and have proven successful with my students. With that success, I decided others should also be able to share in that. So I am opening up my materials to others who are teaching similar content.
Since I am new to selling on TPT, I wanted to open my store up to everyone and make the items free to use so I can start getting some feedback on the materials and see what you all think!
I hope the materials I have created help to increase student performance and growth for your students, as they have for mine!
