1 page handout for your writing workshops. This checklist was created for senior honors students but can be differentiated for other levels. Checklist asks writing content, writing structure, and basic editing questions. Have your classes peer edit at least two times prior to turning in their final essay, and you will pleased with the results. Works well with my Time Saving Writing Content Editing Key offered in my storefront.

This is a writing workshop tool for peer editing groups. This Writing Workshop Peer Editing Key guides students through basic essay structure requirements, formatting, and editing (including thesis statement, MLA, evidence/proof, etc.). For both 9th grade English and 9th grade Gate English students. Teach your students how to peer edit and you will be much happier when it's your turn to grade the essays. If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.
