Teaching style

The passion I have for teaching comes out when I'm in front of my class. I love for children to be engaged and for them to love to come to school. I do this with tons of laughter! I believe when I'm enjoying myself than they are the most engaged and our getting the most out of the lesson. One of my core beliefs is that I believe that all children are different and need specific attention to flourish. I try to find something that I love about each and every child.

Additional biographical information

Hi friends!! I’m a married mother of five and I have been married to my high school sweetheart for over 29 years. My kids are ages 9 to 27. I'm also a Mimi to two beautiful grandchildren. I’m a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree. Teaching is truly a passion of mine. I was a stay at home mom for over 12 years. When my dad tragically died suddenly, I found that teaching was an excellent outlet for me that I had been missing for many years. I decided to pursue a life long dream. Although, I already had a bachelor's degree in business I went back to school to meet all the requirements to become a certified teacher. I haven't looked back since and it has been one of the best decisions of my life!!
