Hello, and welcome to Little Mouse Schoolhouse! My name is Rachel, and I am a retired elementary teacher. I taught K-6, with a large part of my career spent in upper elementary gifted education. One thing I noticed in school is that that as students grew older, many of them started to lose the creative spark they once had. Feeling like there is one right answer or way to do things snuffs out that flame bit by bit each year. Let's change that!
My goal is to produce beautiful, engaging products and activities that inspire creativity and make learning more fun! I create inexpensive, quality products that will make your life easier and nurture creative juices. I create products for students to use in the classroom and to assist you in creating your own products as a teacher or TPT seller.

Teaching style
I believe that without trust and respect, you have nothing. My goal was to build a meaningful relationship with each of my students to let them know I truly cared. Students thrive on knowing what is expected, being challenged, and taking risks in a safe, trusted environment. Once this is accomplished...the possibilities are endless!
It is always my goal to encourage creativity, and sadly, many students have felt so boxed in over the years with thinking there is only one "right way" get/give an answer that they often lose much of their creative spark as they get older. I think it's so important to be mindful of using and creating activities that nuture their uniqueness and ideas while learning.
