I have been a teacher since 2012 and now run my own preschool out of my home!

Teaching style

I have a very interactive teaching style. Any worksheet that I use, I typically extend with hands-on activities and discussions.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have been acknowledged twice for outstanding lessons within the classroom. I had the honor of being selected as an "outstanding first year teacher" and was brought in to present to the students in the education department at the local university. I have presented on water exploration in the classroom and age-appropriate games and web sites for children. I was chosen to be on a team of 5 teachers to write the 1st and 2nd grade curriculum for the school district. I have now left public school teaching, but run my own home daycare/preschool.

I am 36 years old, a former public school teacher and love to keep busy! I not only run my own daycare /preschool during the day, but I am also an Etsy shop/TPT shop, a PaperPie book partner and run an educational Instagram/Tiktok platform and personal website, find me on all platforms as @littlelearnerlibrary
