About the store
I have completed my first year of teaching as a Special Education resource teacher. I was fortune enough to have taught several grade levels including kindergarten, first and fourth. My first year was difficult yet rewarding. I learned so much from all the wonderful people who work together to make our school run smoothly. I felt nervous and unprepared diving head on into my first year, but I utilized my resources, absorbed new knowledge and made the best out of everything that was given to me. My students made me laugh, they made me cry, but most importantly they made me love them. I learned from their experiences and their frustration and gave them the best education that I could as a first year teacher.

Behavior Chart for Students with Special Needs

Created by

This was used in a resource class for kindergarten but can be easily used in any k-5 classroom. I printed this chart on cardstock and laminated it. You can either put stickers or draw smiley faces with a dry erase marker. When the kid fills out the entire chart they can get a prize or some other reward. The three behaviors emphasized on this chart are quiet mouth, raise your hand, and do your work.
