Have your language students practice their numbers 1-100 and colors by creating their own mystery pictures. This blank template was created by Living Language. Have students color their own mystery picture and create a key. They will then give just a copy of their key to their partner who will follow the directions written in Spanish OR have the partner call out the numbers and colors orally.

Increase knowledge and interest in Spanish-speaking countries of your Spanish I students with this beginning of the year project by Living Language. Students will choose a partner and sign up for one of the listed Spanish-speaking countries. They will then create a PowerPoint presentation of their findings from the given criteria. Since this is a beginning of the year project for Spanish I, it may be completed in English.

Each student gets a blank copy of the cuestionario. Set a time limit for students to walk around the room and fill up their cuestionario. Try not to use a student's name more than once. All students must ask and answer questions in Spanish! You can turn it into a game by seeing who can get done the fastest.
