This 8 question digital escape can help students practice solving equations with variables on both sides. Questions include using distributive property, combining like terms and questions with decimals!

This google activity gives students 12 challenging questions to solve; after every 3 questions students must enter the code created based off their answer choices. Students can only progress to the next set of questions if their code is correct. A student work page is also provided.

This gives students 8 equations with variables on both sides to solve. As students solve each equation, they will input their answer into the corresponding cell. If the cell changes from blue to purple the answer is correct. If the answer is not correct the cell will not change color.
