Teaching style

My teaching style is purposeful, structured, and fun! I want ALL students to feel empowered to reach their full potential and develop thinking skills that will set them up for success. I create memorable learning experiences for my students, and provide enrichment that many high achieving/gifted students need. I design learning experiences that move beyond surface-level tasks, using frameworks like Depth & Complexity and Interactive Thinking Frames to help students think like mathematicians, engineers, readers, and innovators and beyond!

My own education history

- Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design: California State University, Chico - Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential: California State University, Fullerton - GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) Certification: Orange County Department of Education - Missouri Educator Certification: Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education

Additional biographical information

Starting this store was combining two of my passions: Graphic Design & Teaching. Every resource I create brings me joy, and my goal is that they bring joy to students and classrooms all over the world. When I'm not designing or teaching, I love spending time outdoors. Hiking, swimming, going out on the lake, and enjoying nature are some of my favorite things. I live in beautiful Missouri with my husband, and we enjoy these regularly! I am an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction books, and I consider myself a lifelong learner.
