As a K-4 building, we created this poster to help us streamline essential writing vocabulary for our writing continuum. We wanted to make sure the words had kid friendly definitions that Kindergarten would understand as well as 4th grade. By adding a photo to each word, we hope this will help student remember the meaning of words quicker. Of course you will want to go into more details about the meaning of these words, but that's where you can use your teacher autonomy!
