Experience

I taught for six years. My first year, I taught fourth grade reading and writing. After that, I taught second grade for five years self contained.

Teaching style

I always keep the standards in mind while teaching. I love for my students to be able to have fun, engaging, hands-on activities. I always try to have students work with small groups, partners, and on their own. I love to level independent work so students are challenged at their own level while still maintaining focus on achieving the standard.
