Practice coin counting with a game! Dust off your old Jenga blocks and play coins for your students to use in this fun math game! Players will practice their skills of making change. They will draw a card with a currency amount on it. They will then use any number of coins to make change for a dollar. The amount of coins used in their answer will tell them which Jenga block can be removed. Get ready for some loud and fun learning!

Teaching style

As a teacher, I believe in the power of student voice and choice. Although that is the most recent buzz word in education, the overall meaning behind it is true. I strive to create lessons and learning opportunities that are inclusive and allow for multiple ways of learning and engagement. Each lesson provides an array of learning opportunities beyond the surface level content.
