Variety sums up my experience! I have been fortunate to have gained my 13 years of experience in both common core and non-common core states in grade levels ranging from preschool-4th. I have experience teaching in high poverty Title One schools as well as schools with large ESOL populations.I love working with others and have team taught inclusion classes as well as a general education multi-age 1st and 2nd grade class. While initially all that change was unsettling, it has helped me grow and refine my teaching tremendously!

Experience

Teaching style

I love to make it meaningful! I jump at any opportunities for project based learning, inquiry, student choice, centers and stations, and collaborative learning. I am constantly on the lookout for ways to help my students make connections across the curriculum and to tie our learning to their personal interests.
