I am passionate about accessibility, inclusion, advocacy, and recognizing family as an integral part of a student's education team. I have high expectations for what education can look like for students of all abilities, and I won't settle for less! I have over a decade of experience as an early childhood educator, a lifetime of experience as a sibling of a person with autism, and working experience in supporting the daily living of teens and young adults with developmental disabilities. Teaching style

My mission is to provide inclusive educational resources that work for many kinds of classrooms, and many kinds of students - those that are typically developing, developmentally delayed, neurodivergent, disabled, or just figuring things out. My products focus on supporting visual learning, and communication, using modern, reality-based imagery. Most of the images featured within my products are my own original art. The majority of my products are designed to be adaptable, customizable, or utilized in multiple ways. This makes my resources functional for, and accessible by, students at different skill levels or points in development.

Additional biographical information

I'm based in central NC, with a child who received services from a public PreK, and is now in a Developmental Needs Kindergarten class. I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating, and advocating within, the public school system. I'm glad to answer questions or give my two-cents to others that are going through the IEP or 504 process.
