I am a speech language pathologist of many years and many settings in my career. I have visited nearly every setting and worked with a variety of populations, all while maintaining a love for organization and template creation.
This is a product I developed for my personal use in maintaining a standard of assessment for students working on pragmatic language skills throughout their case. I found it helpful for informally assessing skills as well as tracking progress in areas of pragmatic/social language.
How many of us have middle school students who love mysteries? I created a series of mystery activities to satisfy the crime-solving bug in a group of my students, this one being a hit with many of them. The activity draws on inferential thinking and prompts students to answer questions regarding information they came across in the story.
This is a document I developed to assist in documenting progress during cases with early verbal language learners. I have used this personally to ensure that I consider each point of verbal language skills consistently across the case.
