Fishing for Sight Words Week 2
Kids fish for sight word cards and place them in the correct sentence strip. There are sight word sentences to send with homework to read. You can cut the sight word cards apart, attach a paper clip, make dowel rod fishing poles and have the students put the fish in the correct sentence. There are workpages, powerpoints and a turning points test to go along with this lesson.

Teaching style
I teach using a variety of methods. I use textbooks as a resource. I use trade books and children's literature for whole group instruction. I use literacy centers and math centers for small group instruction. I am always eager to try something new.
Additional biographical information
I have been married for 23 years and have 4 wonderful children. My oldest daughter is graduating this year to become an elementary teacher. I am one proud mother.
