Experience

Ready-to-use ELA resources for busy but passionate middle and high school teachers. Rooted in classic literature, I help English teachers with reading and writing materials that bring depth, meaning and purpose to their classrooms. I have always felt a calling to teach since I was very young and I discovered a love for literature when I was in high school. I realized the importance and practicality of skills-based learning, but I also discovered how certain works of literature could profoundly change my perspective and understand myself more. Since then the classics, literature and art have become a passion and I strive to spread the knowledge I so love to my students. I have been teaching students at the middle school and high school level for about 7 years and I opened my TPT store in 2024 to share my resources and my love for literature with like-minded teachers. “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” (Isaac Newton) I think education is much more than knowledge, rote-learning or memorizing; it’s an opportunity to get in touch with the great thinkers and writers of history and connect with them as they are still relevant today.

Teaching style

I truly believe in the importance of traditional learning. Teaching note-taking, reading and writing are the foundation of our students' education and well-being. What nurtures their mind nurtures them as well-rounded citizens and thinkers - I believe this can be done by uniting skills-based learning and a traditional approach to the humanities, while showing them the relevance of the classics and focusing on appreciating them first of all. Classic literature offered me a key to understanding myself and the world, it helped me go beyond the surface in many aspects of life and I believe that today’s generation of students particularly crave meaning more than ever. Classics are fundamentally "hopecore", students and teachers alike need this today and I think the classroom is a great place to experience and share this.

My own education history

I was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and I completed my high school education there. I then traveled to my Italy and completed a BA and Masters in Italian and Modern Literature in Milan to round off my education in the Humanities and get my teaching qualifications for both middle and high school.
