Absent Work Form

Please use this absent work form in your classroom to help you keep on top of things! I found that this set-up worked best for my classroom, but I know not all teachers teach in the same way :) I keep a file folder full of these already printed and ready, so when a student is absent, I yank it out and jot down what they missed. I also try to staple any papers we used to the back (or place it all in a file folder) so the student has everything they need to make up the work. Enjoy, and as always,

Countries of the World Research Guide

Created for a fourth grade immigration research project, this guide is broken down into 7 main areas and gives space for students to take notes about their research in each. I found this also helped them when planning the paragraphs in their research paper. Topics include: population, languages, food, customs, products and industry, holidays, plants and animals, and geography.

This is an EDITABLE daily agenda form for students' binders or folders (in case you would like to add/change/delete subjects). I created this page as a way of having my students know and record the objectives for the day. I copy this front and back and hole punch lots of copies. They go in a certain box where all the students know to find them. As part of their morning routine, I ask the students to write down the date, the topics or objectives for the day, and any homework they have at the end

Homework Pass! {Turquoise}

Although I found several lovely homework passes on TpT, none of them matched my classroom colors and said exactly what I wanted, so I created one myself! My kids get so excited about earning homework passes that they really amp up the good behavior. Whatever works, am I right? I would definitely laminate these, write on them with dry-erase markers, and reuse them year after year to save ink.
