2-player game
Materials Needed:
Tic-Tac-Toe board
Game cards
Dry erase board
Marker
Sock
Game Rules:
1. Whoever is the youngest goes first, they will be X’s. The other player gets the answer key, they will be O’s.
2. The first person picks a card and tells the other player what number they have. Then, on their dry erase board, they write the problem down and solve.
3. The other player checks that their answer is correct or incorrect using the answer key. If

This worksheet can be used to teach or review how to solve word problems involving multiplication and division. There are also 2 charts at the top of the worksheet that show the clue words that signal which operation to use.
This sort was created to review VA Math SOL 3.1a. Students can sort the cards to identify the standard, word and expanded forms for given numbers up to the hundred thousands place. I printed each form on a different colored card stock paper and use it in my math centers and for remediation.
