Primary ELA Rubric
This product is a great rubric to use for the primary grades in preparation for PARCC once they reach third grade. I use this with my students to teach them about Reading Comprehension/Written Expression as well as Language Conventions. It helps parents understand the requirements of PARCC and gets students used to writing using CUPS, text evidence and full explanations.

Experience
I just completed my 26th year of teaching. I have taught kindergarten through 4th grade, all subjects, in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Teaching style
I teach using the Inquiry Method. My classroom is student centered and student led. Classroom activities are hands on and interactive. I teach in small, flexible, differentiated groups.
