Experience
This is my 11th year as an elementary school teacher. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and currently 4th grade. I have also been an AIS teacher in which I taught lessons to grades K-5th. Also, I had been the testing coordinator.
Teaching style
My style is to do a whole class mini-lesson and then the students either break up into groups or pairs. They also do independent work as well. I assess them throughout the lesson.
My own education history
I went to college at SUNY Albany in which I received a BA in communications and business. I went to Graduate school at Hunter College for elementary education.
Additional biographical information
I am passionate about teaching and will find a way to get to all of my students. I find out their learning style and incorporate it into my lessons.
