Teaching style

My teaching style blends structure with creativity. I believe in clear routines, high expectations, and plenty of hands-on learning. I love using visuals, games, and real-life connections to help students take ownership of their learning. In my classroom, we celebrate progress, stay organized, and keep things just the right amount of prickly—with kindness, curiosity, and a little humor woven in.

My own education history

I began my educational journey at Allan Hancock Community College before transferring to San Jose State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. I later completed my Teaching Credential at Cal State Los Angeles. Currently, I'm pursuing my Master’s Degree in Literacy and Reading at Cal State Fullerton to deepen my expertise in supporting diverse readers.
