Experience

Welcome to my little corner of TPT! Where Ladybugs Land & Little Minds Grow. Thoughtfully designed classroom resources that make learning meaningful and teaching easier.

Teaching style

My classroom is a blend of curiosity, creativity, and just the right amount of controlled chaos! I believe learning should be meaningful and fun, so I strive to make lessons feel more like discoveries than assignments. Whether it’s exploring new topics with hands-on activities, singing our way through tricky concepts, or celebrating small wins with a happy dance, I’m all about creating an environment where kids feel excited to learn. I use a mix of structure and flexibility to meet students where they are—small groups, individualized supports, and lots of encouragement help each child shine in their own way. If students are smiling and learning at the same time, I know I’m doing something right!

Awards & shining teacher moments

As a second year teacher, I’ve already experienced so many rewarding moments—from seeing students light up during lessons to building a classroom community where every child feels valued. One highlight has been creating and sharing teacher-focused Pinterest boards. I’ve curated multiple boards to help other educators find ideas for lesson planning, classroom management, seasonal activities, and more. Even early in my career, it’s been fulfilling to support fellow teachers by sharing creative resources and inspiration online.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My coursework and student teaching experiences helped me build a strong foundation in lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction. I am currently a first grade teacher, where I apply these skills daily to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment. I'm committed to lifelong learning and continuously reflect on and refine my teaching practice to best meet the needs of all my students.

Additional biographical information

Outside of the classroom, I love creating, organizing, and designing materials that make teaching more effective and enjoyable. I’m always brainstorming ways to bring creativity and clarity to instruction. I truly believe that teaching is both an art and a science, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned—and continue to learn—with fellow educators through this store.
