Texas Teachers… use these readiness questions in ways to best suit your student’s needs. You can use one question per warm up, you can mix them and spiral the questions, you can use them in quizzes and/or tests.

Here is an exciting and fun mixed test review with a “Simon Says” twist.  Kids must answer math questions correctly to perform funny tasks.  The students raved about this particular activity. Teachers, here is a MIXED REVIEW for the  6th grade Math state test (in my case being the STAAR test… from Texas).   We used the review to “Roast The Teacher.”  The students were highly engaged and were working hard as groups/partners to solve each question.  In the notes section of the slides, you will find some useful information.  If you prefer not to get roasted, feel free to delete a few slides (with instructions) and just use the questions.
