This file can be used for additional practice, daily warm ups, spiral review, study guides, etc. Personally, I use this as a daily warm up. I give the students 5-10 questions to complete after entering the classroom.
Students will need to add fractions based off of the amount of pizza slices left in the pizzas. Most questions require the students to find a common denominator before adding.
This file displays every day objects to give students a better understanding of how to combine like terms/objects. The first page uses images of the objects. The second page uses the first letter of the objects. I didn't tell my students this. They were able to practice algebraic patterns and formulas.
My students needed a fun, interactive way to learn how to add integers with the same and different signs. I created a "card" game where they had to work in small groups to solve the problems and displayed their answers on white boards; however, this file can be used in a multitude of ways!
