This file can be used for additional practice, daily warm ups, spiral review, study guides, etc. Personally, I use this as a daily warm up. I give the students 5-10 questions to complete after entering the classroom.

Students will need to calculate and find the rate, unit rate, and better buy for items. The activity includes examples on page 1 (I do, we do, and you do). Page 2 includes a list of party supplies that will be used to calculate a total for the party costs. Students will need to determine if we will be in budget. Students will need to add fractions based off of the amount of pizza slices left in the pizzas. Most questions require the students to find a common denominator before adding.

Students can use this Integer Operations Study Sheet as a tool to prepare for an upcoming assessment or check their steps while completing an assignment.

The students can complete these task cards in small groups (centers) or as a practice packet. Each center includes eight (8) task cards. This file displays every day objects to give students a better understanding of how to combine like terms/objects. The first page uses images of the objects. The second page uses the first letter of the objects. I didn't tell my students this. They were able to practice algebraic patterns and formulas.

This file includes visuals to help students understand the meaning of what a common denominator is and the steps to take when adding and subtracting fractions. My students are mostly visual learners and I find that when I use relatable objects or tasks, they seem to understand the concepts better.

My students needed a fun, realistic and interactive way to learn about theoretical and experimental probability. This activity kept them engaged and they learned how to plan a field trip based off the chance of events.

In this interactive Four Corners game, students will answer a series of questions either on paper or using individual whiteboards. After each question, they’ll select the corner of the room that represents the answer they believe is correct. Each corner corresponds to one possible answer choice. Students can work individually or in small groups to sort the twelve (12) task cards included. Students will have to solve these sixteen (16) Halloween themed questions using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Once solved, they can match the correct answer to each question. Awesome interactive activity for small groups!

Students can learn how to combine like terms in algebraic expressions using this worksheet. It is recommended that they use shapes or colors to categorize each term in the expression.
