Morning message journal writing pages in both English and Spanish. Use in my Spanish Immersion classroom to set consistent morning routines as well as develop language and writing skills. Our board had a new message every morning with different focus skills (e.g. phonetic patterns, punctuation, etc.). Students take initiative in their learning every morning.
A total of 4 pages, two in English and two in Spanish for two-digit and three-digit numbers. I have used these as daily math warm-ups, morning work, math center, and sometimes just to fit in a little extra math review.
Easy, low-prep birthday notes to send home! We celebrate birthdays by reading favorite books during our read-aloud time. I print these out and prep them at the beginning of the school year then they're set for me to send home a week before birthday celebrations.
Super fun and engaging First Day of School activity! I have used this in my class every year, proven to be fail-proof. Students have an outlet for their jitters and teachers have an opportunity to address any and all first-day morning events.
In English and Spanish! A fun way for students to take ownership of their classroom by showing families around their learning space. This is always a big hit during Back to School Night!
