Luvy Duvy Learning

I have taught for the past 10 years in many different positions. I have taught grades K-3 and 6-8. I have worked as a reading specialist, a mild to moderate intervention specialist, an elementary classroom teacher, and a gifted and talented teacher. In my career so far I have been blessed to see a very wide array of needs and abilities.

My personal philosophy includes 3 basic requirements: 1) Every child in my classroom should feel comfortable in their environment and confident in their abilities. I work really hard to make products that will build your students up for success. 2) Learning should be exciting!! I want you to get excited about sharing my products with your students. 3) Every child should feel challenged. My products are creative and open-ended. I also use a lot of differentiation to meet students at their level.

I am just an everyday teacher living the dream. My greatest award is the picture left on my desk anonymously that says "My favorite teacher". My greatest honor is seeing a student succeed in life, knowing that I had a part in their journey.

I went to Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. There I received a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. I also having a Reading Endorsement. I also graduated with a bachelor's in Mild/Moderate Special Education (Intervention Specialist). I have also started my master's program at Cleveland State University in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Gifted & Talented Learners.
