About the store
I have been teaching 2nd grade for ten years now and I absolutely love it! Before teaching 2nd, I taught in a self-contained K-4 Emotionally Impaired Classroom for three years. I also was a resource room teacher for upper elementary (grades 3 and 4) and middle school (grades 7 and 8) for two years. I started my career co-teaching for high school general ed classes with special ed students who were mainstreamed. I have been all over:)

Experience

Teaching style

I do the workshop models for reading, writing, and math. I teach a mini-lesson and then the kids work independently, in partners, and/or small groups to work on certain skills.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I am a teacher! What bigger honor is there? :)
