I started my career co-teaching for high school general ed classes with special ed students who were mainstreamed. I have been all over:)

Lahtzee Yahtzee Math Dice Game

Lahtzee is similar to Yahtzee, but easier. It is a great math game for individuals, partners or small groups. It is beneficial because points are in increments of 0, 5, 10, 25, and 100 so your students can improve their counting coins ability while having fun! There are two score sheets per page. I usually cut them in half. My students love playing this game, so I thought I would share. Supports Common Core 2.MD.C.8 HLyonsTPT http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Hlyonstpt

Teaching style

I do the workshop models for reading, writing, and math. I teach a mini-lesson and then the kids work independently, in partners, and/or small groups to work on certain skills.
