Hi! I’m an elementary educator with over 10 years of classroom experience and currently serve as a literacy coach in Salt Lake City schools, a role I’ve held for the past six years. I hold an ESL endorsement, a K–12 Literacy Specialist license, and I am LETRS certified. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a LETRS Certified Facilitator for the state of Utah for six years, giving me a deep, practical understanding of the Science of Reading.
My classroom experience includes co-teaching full-day in a fully inclusive general education setting alongside a special education teacher, supporting students ranging from gifted and talented to those with significant learning disabilities. This has shaped my belief that strong, explicit instruction benefits all learners.
While I value technology as a tool in education, I am passionate about rethinking how it’s used. I believe students learn best through explicit, in-person instruction, and my goal is to create practical, teacher-friendly resources that support high-quality instruction rather than replace it.
Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!
