About the store
Bonjour tout le monde ! Voici un peu de moi. I’ve been teaching for over ten years, with experience in both elementary and secondary settings. I began by tutoring English and French part-time, working with small groups and one-on-one students. After graduating, my wife and I moved to London, England, where I taught English and French full-time at the secondary level. It was there that I began developing a wide range of personalized, classroom-tested resources. After returning to Canada, I taught Core French and English in a secondary setting, before transitioning to the elementary panel in 2017. I’ve been a full-time Core French teacher at the elementary level ever since. As a French teacher, I know how challenging it can be to find quality, age-appropriate materials — which is why I started creating my own. I’m excited to share my resources with other educators who are looking for engaging, ready-to-use tools for the Core French classroom.

Teaching style

My teaching approach is rooted in activity-based learning and the approche actionnelle, with a strong focus on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiation. I aim to make French meaningful, inclusive, and accessible through real-world tasks, visual supports, and multiple entry points. I regularly integrate technology to support engagement, language production, and student independence — creating resources that work across whole-class, small group, and one-on-one settings.

My own education history

I graduated in 2014 from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in French, followed by a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University in 2015. I hold teaching qualifications in the Primary, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior divisions, with additional qualifications in Special Education. My diverse training allows me to support a wide range of learners across multiple grade levels.
