Pain at the Pump - Middle School practical math (Common Core conditioning)
Help students engage in problem based learning with practical math tasks that follow the common core method of assessment. This slide show contains two division math tasks and two multi-operational math tasks. Both task pairs involve the use of technology in the classroom.
I use these types of activities with my 5th grade Math classes 3 days a week. The students so look forward to solving another "adult" problem that they are disappointed when we have to do something else.
