These activities are meant to accompany a reading of the book "The Crossover" by Kwame Alexander. The comprehension activities can be easily adapted to any part of the book and are flexible to use.
This activity allows students to explore the properties of matter in a fun and engaging way. Students will be tasked with coloring, sorting, exploring the virtual lab, and answering a short set of comprehension questions at the end.
This reading scrapbook is a fun way to engage students and build their relationship with reading! This book is easily adaptable to any grade level. Students can either take photos of the cover of their book or draw their own cover and paste it in! With space to write their own review and rating, students engage in deeper analysis of what they read. Pages 3 & 4 can be copied to accommodate as many pages as you need!
