Spelling through Vocabulary

Spelling through vocabulary is a 71 page PowerPoint that teaches tier 2 vocabulary as a part of the spelling curriculum. The Made Practically PowerPoint is designed with a cover sheet that provides instructions and directions. The cover sheet can be attached to each week's list. The purpose of this activity is to explicitly teach tier 2 vocabulary in order to improve overall reading comprehension. Along with 2-3 tier 2 vocabulary words a week, teachers are free to select up to 3 content area

Parent Survey

This survey should be given out at the beginning of the year (open house). Parents fill out the survey which allows a teacher to get a better perspective on parental expectations and their knowledge of their child. This survey comes in very handy during parent teacher conferences.
