Use this to keep kids, and yourself organized!
Hand out to students as you see fit, everyday or weekly. They learn to take notes, write down their assignment at the bottom and have parents initial. No reason for the parents not to have a clue what they are learning if they can initial it!!!

Factors and Multiples resource
Use this when introducing factors and multiples. Can be used with fractions or prime & composite. There is a completed one page of factors of the numbers 1- 50 and a blank copy that you can print 2 sided for students to fill in. There is a common multiples sheet that is blank and filled in through the 12s. I am also including the blank JPEG for you to be able to use in google slides. Experience
I am currently on my 8th year teaching.I have been in small rural schools in East Texas. I have spent a lot of time closing gaps and doing test prep. I have taught 4-7th grade Math along with 6-12 ESL and 4th grade science & Texas History.
Teaching style
I want my students to know what to expect when they enter my classroom everyday. I thrive in routine, and so do kids. predictability makes a tough subject a little easier. My notes are typically in the same format for every lesson to keep consistency.
My own education history
I have a Bachelors of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Health Science with a minor in Kinesiology. I took extra math in college because I knew if I were to ever teach I would want to teach math. I ended up starting a family and subbing for a year before landing my first teaching job. I was a part of a research grant for rural East Texas teachers. This was the best thing that could have happened to me. I grew so much as a teacher that year.
Additional biographical information
I am married to my high school sweetheart. He is a coach, and we love being at the same school coaching and teaching. We both love Jr. high kids and taught different subjects. If you see science and social studies stuff from me know that it is coming from a GREAT source. (my Hubby)
We have 3 kids and live on 20 acres with cows and love every minute of it. In my free time, I love to travel to anywhere tropical and play with my kids.
