About the store

Experience

This is my first official year as a special education teacher! I received my bachelor's degree in special education in 2020 and became a preschool year for the 2020-2021 school year. I recently accepted a special education position in March at a school for students with autism and autism like behaviors. I am currently in graduate school and will be receiving my masters in ABA in December 2021!

Teaching style

Throughout student teaching and having my own classroom, I have realized how students learn. They enjoy being engaged and excited for their lessons. Giving students hands on activities not only helps them to learn, but reinforces the material that they are learning. My goal is to always have my students involved in their learning rather than lecturing to them.

Awards & shining teacher moments

As a teacher who has recently began their teaching career, it is always rewarding when student's learn and grow from the lessons and materials I use.

My own education history

I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a teacher of students with disabilities endorsement. I am currently working towards my masters degree in the program special education sequence for applied behavior analysis. This program allows me to gain experience in special education from a classroom setting and ABA from a clinical one!

Additional biographical information

I decided to start selling because I make a lot of my materials for my students and I thought that others may enjoy them too! As I grow my shop I will continue to grow my social media so stay tuned for that!
