About the store
I'm a current speech-language pathologist with experience in private practices, elementary schools (public and charter), and home healthcare. I'm graduated with an M.S. in Educational Research in May of 2020 and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in August of 2020. I've worked with children of a variety of ages (ages 3-17 years) who have a variety of disorders (e.g., speech sound, language, fluency, voice). I'm hoping to use TpT as a place where I can document and share some of the materials I make during my practice and beyond!

ABLLS-R Reference List of Skills (Color Coded)

Organized by assessment area broadly (e.g., Basic Learner Skills, Academic Skills, Self-Help Skills, Motor Skills), this is a color-coded version of the ABLLS-R Reference List of Skills. I've found this list really useful for determining next steps for speech-language therapy and determining reasonable and achievable IEP goals.

Behavior Management Brag Tags/Cards/Bucks (15)

These were originally designed as on-the-wall cards to reward good behavior in my speech-language therapy room. This set of 15 includes cards labelled "I raise my hand before I talk," "I keep my hands to myself," and "I sit in my chair" to target and reward good behaviors. Others, such as "I gave 100%" and "My homework is amazing" relate more to academic effort and performance.

Teaching style

I use positive behavior support (PBS) as much as possible in my classroom, frequently relying on token systems (i.e., physical tokens such as bingo chips or written tokens such as stars on a board). I'm also a big believer in visual schedules and pretty much all types of visual support for students, especially those with social communication difficulties. I'll be posting some of the materials I use soon!
