Quick notes on solving quadratic equations using square roots. Include a quick notes sheet on the letter "I" and simplifying square roots using I and without i. Includes a practice page with mixed levels of solving.
Have your students create a mind map to help connect ideas about quadratics including key vocabulary, different ways to write a quadratic function etc. Includes a rubric to making grading easier too! My students loved this and they were able to use them as the moved on to high school for algebra 2 and it helped them remember the material! Most of them used it as a tool for the rest of the year !

I won the the Math achievement award at my college for being the student with the highest GPA of all the math majors. I also did work for the National Space Grant Consortium and presented a project on nonlinear polarization.
