About the store
I have been teaching in special education for 21 years. My favorite thing to do is take standards and grade-level curriculum and make it accessible for students with disabilities. I focus on intervention in the areas of basic reading skills, math, writing, and comprehension. I also assist with language and vocabulary development. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Deaf and Hard of Hearing from birth to age 22. I am an intermediate-level communicator of American Sign Language and currently teach Deaf students in a public elementary school. I LOVE all things dealing with behavior and building self-awareness and self-advocacy skills in students.

Created by

Teachers!! Do you have a student who is not able to break apart a number to make a ten when adding?? This manipulative made it possible for a 2nd-grade student who struggles with math, to do his classwork in the general education setting. Special education teachers!! Manipulatives are more than just counters. This manipulative set helps students "Make a Ten" to add numbers up to 20. It is pre-set up with ten frames, so it works with students who have motor difficulties, slight vision issue
