There is a plethora of cognate activities out there for recognizing cognates we read, but I noticed my students have trouble recognizing cognates they hear, so these activities were created with that purpose in mind. (other than act. 6 and 7 which were created mainly to help fill in those sub assignments we always need :) Please let me know if you have any questions, instructions are unclear or you notice mistakes.

Students have 2 dice, one for the column and one for the row at the top or they could just roll one die twice. The dice will decide what activity to discuss, and students will tell how often they do that activity. Depending on their language experience, they can add reactions and/or follow-up questions. The question at the top could also be left off and students could discuss whether or not they like these activities, whether or not they did the activity yesterday or basically anything else.
