Have students pick their favorite book to write about. Give the book a rating out of 10, write the main event, and setting. When they are finished they can use their creativity to color and cut. You can hand these around the classroom or create a cute bulletin with one of the slogans attached (i.e. "Soaring into Summer with a Good Book!...).

Add sight words or quick math facts to each shape and when the student gets the answer correct, cover with the geometric block!

Valentines Activity - Have students rip pieces of paper and glue them into the heart. Then have them choose what slip they want to fill out about their book. When they are finished, glue the book information on top of the heart in the center and it will show how students love reading to pieces! (See last slide for how it will turn out)
