Writers Workshop Writing Prompt Labels SAMPLE
Not finding many writing labels for writing prompts, I decided to make a page of my own. They can be printed out on any 2x4 inch set of labels. They are geared toward Writers Workshop, "All About Me," writing prompts. I've seen these prompts elsewhere but expanded them by making the writer think about possible scenarios to write about/questions to answer. This is just the sample. Experience
I've been working in education since 1987 and teaching since 1994. I have taught all elementary grade levels including ESE, gifted, ELL and 'regular.' In addition I have overseen a camp for gifted/talented students.
Teaching style
I teach at a child's level but push each child to learn above his/her level. Because I don't believe in specific methods I use a salad method. What works for a student is used. Currently my school uses the workshop method for all subjects but I complement them as needed.
