Magness Math

In this project, students demonstrate their understanding of triangles (trigonometry, special right triangles, Pythagorean theorem, triangle congruence and similarity) by writing a children's book. In the book, main characters have to go on a journey to find their missing sides and angles. They in turn help others find their sides using congruence and similarity. Students are required to demonstrate their math at the end of the book.

In this project, students will demonstrate their understanding of geometry with a culminating project. The scrapbook requires them to create pages for each of the main topics in geometry. I used this as a 2nd semester/4th quarter project.
